About Tigran Sarkisyan, the Armenian Artist
 

 
Tigran Sarkisyan is a master of forging 3-D figures, be it in wax, wood or sterling silver jewelry. Tigran’s pieces wonderfully display movement, drama and intrigue in a subtle manner which never takes the drama into gaudiness. He was born on August 27, 1962 in Yerevan, Armenia. When graduating from high school, Tigran was accepted to the Armenian Polytechnic Institute with a full scholarship to be educated in architecture, industrial, and civil construction. In 1990, Tigran Sarkisyan became a member of the Ministry of Culture of Armenia Republican Scientific Methodical Center of Folk Art. He did not stay for a long time, given his desire to travel the world. Tigran Sarkisyan came to America in 1991 and subsequently joined art exhibitions & his interest for sculpting grew fiercer.
 
Tigran’s effort was soon credited by popular celebs. He produced a necklace well named Cleopatra for Elizabeth Taylor. The necklace eventually debuted in the movie Cleopatra, creating a vital imprint in the cultural history of international film and literature. Tigran also sculpted  a medallion collection for Russian Patriarch Alexey the Second, which continues to is part of the Royal keep at present.
